The City and the Port work to develop a plan on a sensitive subject, cutting trees.  Then what happens, they cut the wrong trees!  Now they are trying to determine who's at fault.  Let's see what they determine, but when the lead Port official is quoted as saying, " When the sawyers rev their chain saws, they have to cut something".  I believe their is a lack of understanding on the Port's part as to the importance we place on our environment.  And it shows a lack of sensitivity to the wishes of Anacortes' citizens.
